Welcome to bookworming. These Terms of Service govern your use of our virtual and in-person reading groups focusing on contemporary Canadian and global literature. Please read carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using any service, info product, or product offered by bookworming, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our offerings.

2. Services

Our services include live virtual reading groups and in-person reading groups held at various locations including our address at 55 John Street, Toronto, ON M5V 3E7, Canada. Each group session is led by experienced facilitators.

3. Info Products

Info products include digital guides, study materials, and recorded sessions available for download after purchase. Delivery is immediate upon payment confirmation.

4. Goods

Goods include physical merchandise such as printed study guides or branded items. Shipment details and handling vary by item and will be provided at the time of purchase.

5. Refund and Rescheduling Policy

5.1 Services

For virtual and in-person reading groups booked in 2025, participants may request a reschedule up to seven days before the first session. If a reschedule is not possible, you may receive a refund of funds paid. Refunds are issued via the original payment method within ten business days of approval.

5.2 Info Products

Due to the nature of digital files, we do not offer refunds for info products once the download link has been accessed. If you encounter technical issues preventing access, please contact us via Contact Us and we will provide support or a replacement file.

5.3 Goods

Physical items may be returned within thirty days of delivery in unused, original condition. Customers are responsible for shipment costs of the return. Upon receipt and inspection, we will issue a refund of the item price via the original payment method within ten business days.

6. Cancellations by bookworming

bookworming reserves the right to cancel any scheduled reading group due to low enrollment or other unforeseen events. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund of funds or a reschedule option.

7. Limitation of Liability

bookworming and its facilitators are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property during in-person sessions. For virtual sessions, we are not liable for disruptions due to internet connectivity or platform issues.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on our site and take effect upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
